Digital Marketing Specialist - Full-Time
CornerPost Marketing is a boutique marketing agency, based in Fort Dodge, Iowa, that specializes in agriculture. Our team of creative individuals bring various skills within the marketing field, including brand management, content marketing, public relations, digital marketing, event planning, market analysis, print and digital communications, and more. Together our abilities deliver strong, creative cross-channel marketing. We live, breathe, and eat (literally!) agriculture. Our clients are from various sectors in the agriculture industry, but all partner with CornerPost to generate creative strategies that reach their target audience.

In an effort to expand their digital marketing services and expertise, CornerPost is currently seeking an individual to join the team as a digital marketing specialist. In this role, you will work closely with all team members, specifically account leads, content developers and designers to develop and execute on marketing strategies and campaigns. This position will be required to be based in the Fort Dodge, Iowa office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of digital marketing strategy for clients, while working closely with account leads and other team members.
  • Responsible for developing, executing and monitoring impactful digital marketing programs for clients, including websites, SEO/SEM, email, social media, PPC campaigns, landing pages, and retargeting display advertising, to maximize investments and meet or exceed identified goals.
  • Collaborate with team members on client accounts and campaigns to determine the best digital and online strategies and project planning.
  • Aggressively seek to explore new platforms and knowledge to expand digital marketing opportunities such as tools, vendor partners and methods.
  • Lead team in driving SEO strategies and recommendations for online content.
  • Coordinate creative direction with design team or self to develop high-quality digital assets that drive results.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, and add to the company culture with creativity, enthusiasm and a passion.
  • As needed, build and maintain CornerPost’s digital and online presence.
  • Must be able to work with our team in the Fort Dodge, IA office.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Background in agriculture and marketing or communications or public relations
  • Exhibit an understanding in multiple areas of marketing and communications, ranging from traditional to digital, writing to designing, presentations to ad placement, with a desire to continually seek new solutions and education on new marketing practices
  • Ability to manage and facilitate client meetings, showcase strong presentation skills and foster long-term relationships that help grow CornerPost and their services
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-moving environment with multiple projects
  • Self-motivated with the ability to recognize where to take initiative and take next steps to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Remain creative and energizing while also detail-oriented and organized

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Proven professional success in digital marketing and advertising
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • An innovator and creative that possesses strong analytical skills and ability for objective, quick decision-making
  • A self-starter with a drive for success and ability to tackle whatever needs to get done
  • Strong team player
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and use of Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

Not Required, But Highly Desired:

  • Agricultural knowledge
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels and automation
  • Previous client services/relations experience
  • Love/tolerance for animals- we’ll explain later :)
